Why "Rim Thang"?
ริมทาง — "Rim Thang" — means roadside in Thai. It's where the best food in Thailand lives: woks over open flames, plastic stools on the footpath, plates that taste like someone's home.
That's the food we grew up on, and the food we cook here in Glenelg — nothing toned down, everything made fresh daily, from the curry pastes to the handmade dumplings.
The room
Step inside and you're on a Bangkok side street: a real blue-and-yellow tuk-tuk (plate reading RIM THANG · ADELAIDE 2023), milk-crate lanterns, fairy lights and the neon Rim Thang sign over a mural of Thai landmarks.
Grab a Chang or a Singha, settle in, and taste Thailand — one bite at a time.
